We are adding a 4th full-time Proposal Manager position to expand our team. Our Proposal Managers provide grant proposal support for over 200 faculty and researchers in the College of Engineering at Oregon State University. You will partner with researchers to prepare budgets and other administrative components of grant applications, develop and maintain your own expertise in order to interpret and advise on funding rules and guidelines in consultation with the team, and manage a dynamic workload with strict deadlines.

We encourage and support professional development with cross-training, time and financial support for attending conferences and trainings, as well as the opportunity to specialize in area(s) of interest, with a strong emphasis on continual process improvement. OSU also has a helpful network of proposal support staff across the university.

Our close-knit and inclusive proposal support (preaward) team in the College of Engineering is committed to true work-life balance within the team. This allows us to work a flexible 40-hour week, take vacations or just an afternoon off, and cover when someone is sick. This classified staff position provides annual 4-5% salary increases within the 10-step range (currently $54,084 - $82,956) and is eligible for overtime pay on the rare occasion it might be needed. *All OSU employees qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.* This position can be fully remote, in-person, or hybrid with a flexible work schedule (https://hr.oregonstate.edu/remote-work).
